Summary: The aim here is to construct a minimal dialogical terrain between the antagonistic
philosophies of Nietzsche and Marx, not aiming at a conciliation properly, but at
pointing out possible points of sometimes neglected encounters; As well as exposing
WHERE the respective related philosophies can be situated within the opposite
perspective. Are used as central axes for the demystification of a dialogical
impossibility and for better situating from the debate the articles Nietzsche's knowledge
of Marx and Marxism by Ernst Behler and Nietzsche in der Marxistischen Kritik
Osteuropas by Thomas Brobjer. Followed by the understanding of the ways in which
both authors understand modern politics. Finally, possible approximations are made, so
that the debate is mainly directed by the understanding of modern democracy as a
derivation of a Christian civilizational project.
Keywords: Modernity; Christianity; Judaism; Democracy; Socialism.
